Baby Room – Camelot Early Learning Centre Richmond

6 weeks – 2 years

The nursery caters for children from 6 weeks to approximately 2 years. There is a kitchenette for heating children’s meals at a time in line with individual children’s routines. The main focus of this room is to build the child’s independence and make the separation from parents as easy as possible.

Children will be programmed for to foster their social, emotional, gross motor and fine motor skills. By the time children graduate to our toddler room, they will be walking, talking, feeding themselves (with some assistance) and beginning to take creative artwork home to share. as the children develop the busy toddlers will explore the world around them. The age of great discovery begins! As children have now found their feet, there is whole new world at their reach. We will encourage children to explore all aspects of their environment in a safe and secure home like atmosphere.

Qualified and professional carers will foster a love of creativity with daily activities that will adorn the room and the walls of your own home when they come home with your child. Bike riding, climbing, throwing and digging are all activities for outside and our safe and clean yard will be the perfect place for these activities.
